Our Mission at the Lebanon Electric Department is to provide quality power while keeping the price low and service interruptions to a minimum. Electric Operations personnel are committed to providing all of our customers with excellent service. Our team of linemen, electricians, engineers, tree trimmers, locators, and meter technicians are skilled, dedicated and motivated. We are ready to serve both night and day, good weather or bad.
The operation of a power system is a twenty-four hour, 365 day a year job. We strive to keep your power outages and their duration to a minimum, often times in the worst of conditions. Should your outage last longer than hoped for, be assured that the Lebanon Electric Utility will be working hard to restore your power.
The Lebanon Electric Utility is a member of the Indiana Municipal Power Agency. Through this membership, we are able to purchase the most economic power available at any given time, and deliver it to our customers. Cost savings are passed directly to our customers.
We are also members of the American Public Power Association. This allows us easy access to ever changing laws and regulations in the electric industry to ensure that the Lebanon Electric Utility is in full compliance.
