Budget Plan
How would you like to pay a set amount every month on your utility bills? If so, Lebanon Utilities budget plan is for you!
To enroll in the budget plan there are three requirements that must be met:
- You must have lived at your address for one year.
- Your account must be paid in full.
- You may enroll in the budget program in July and August
Once these requirements have been met, you simply need to call or come into the main office to set up you individual budget plan. You will be able to talk to a customer service representative who is well-informed on the budget process and can assist you in setting up your own personal plan.
The representative will quote you on a budget amount equivalent to your average for eleven months with the twelfth month to be used as a reconciliation month to catch up any remaining balance. If you need help in deciding whether or not the budget plan is right for you, the representative can print out your billing history and assist you in going through it. You do not have to make a decision right away. You can take the information home with you and look it over.
Once you are added to the budget plan, your budget amount will appear on the bill along with your monthly charges. Your bill will also show your running balance as either an amount due or a credit.
To remain on the budget plan, you must pay your budget amount on or before the due date every month. If you cannot pay the balance due by the due date please call the office at 765-482-5100 to make other arrangements.
